DJ Music Mixer is a video and audio mixing system that allows its users to create their own music. It integrates effects, samples, and transitions that enable anyone to produce cool MP3 mixes. In the program's nice graphic interface, different visualizations show the beats as the music plays.
Two decks play the currently loaded tracks, each one containing various controls, such as crossfader, pitch, volume, play pause, and stop. Compared to Virtual DJ, the interface is much simpler, but it also has some effects, a sampler, an equalizer, and a recorder.
The program is really easy to use: you just choose one of the decks, then add music by dragging MP3s or WAVs to the Playlist area on the central part of DJ Music Mixer. And finally start playing and mixing. The program has a 10-band equalizer with over 12 presets, autofade, fast seek mode, and a number of great effects, such as chorus, flanger, and gargle. It plays video in AVI, DIVX, and MPEG formats and can mix audio. Plus it is able to record mixes to MP3 or WAV. Additionally, users are able to Rip audio CDs and save them to WAV and MP3.
Some internal functions changed from the previous version, so earlier version licenses are no longer accepted. Also, the new version of the program includes new effects, and users are now able to get a preview of playlist contents before playing the decks.
